The Annual Pool and Spa Show Hits the Big Easy, But How Easy is it To Enjoy Your Spa?
Gizmos, gadgets and gazebos. Those are just a few of the things that will be on display this week as SilkBalance heads to the International Pool, Spa, Patio Expo in New Orleans. The annual gathering of hot tub and pool professionals changes venues every year but the vision remains the same – to grow interest in your product.
At last year’s show in Las Vegas, our SilkBalance Gems spa water conditioner was named the Best Green Product at the show – because there’s nothing harsh about SilkBalance, making it environmentally friendly. While awards are nice, we are not in business to compile trophies (though we do have a nice, growing collection).
SilkBalance exists so that all hot tub owners can enjoy their spa more. While SilkBalance focuses on softening, balancing and protecting – there are so many other products at the annual tradeshow that are designed to treat your water or make it smell better or accessorize your hot tub and make your spa experience better.
From steps and cover lifters to filters and floaties. We love checking out all the newfangled products that the industry introduces every year.
We would love to hear from you regarding what’s important after you choose your perfect hot tub or spa. What sort of accessories, add ons or water care products are you interested in? What’s more important to you, an easy way to remove your spa cover or an easy way to keep up your weekly spa maintenance? Nowadays, there are so many options with covers including hard tops, mechanical lifters and even designs you can place on the underside of your spa cover so that when it’s stored on the side of your hot tub, it provides a scenic backdrop to your favorite escape.
What about the bells and whistles? Do you prefer fancy LED lights surrounding your spa or a bar and towel rack? We’ve seen coolers built into hot tubs – and often wondered how long your favorite beverage stays cold. Is that something you would use? And how do you enter your spa? Do you have a set of steps with the helpful storage drawers built in or do you have steps all the way around your spa? Maybe you went all out and built your spa into a deck or sunken landscape? Send us photos. At SilkBalance we love to hear the habits of hot tubbers!
When it comes to chemicals, what does your maintenance routine entail? Do you prefer chlorine or bromine as your standard sanitizer? Or maybe you have invested in a built-in newfangled salt system. If so, how is that working for you?
Do you also use a water conditioner like SilkBalance to make your skin feel silky and smooth after the harshness of the sanitizer does its job? After you sanitize your water, do you then reach more chemical bottles to chase the pH up and down or do you let SilkBalance buffer that for you and keep it in the correct range? There are so many ways to make sure your spa water is clean, clear and enjoyable and on top of that there’s a ton of options to add on to your spa aftermarket.
Let us know how you spa and we will let you know if we see any cool new hot tub accessories when we get back from New Orleans.
Happy Hot Tubbing from SilkBalance.
